Do you have the url for a sample gif with transparency I could use to test
this?

@AlexKorovyansky I have to check why it doesn't work. In the meantime you can use this other library that I know works with transparent GIFs https://github.com/koral--/android-gif-drawable

please use 'Bitmap.Config.ARGB_8888' to replace 'Bitmap.Config.RGB_565'
