wapanel's Issues

Rework task switcher and add pinning.

Task switcher applet should get a complete rework because current code and design is hard to fit into the panel as it likes to get other widgets "out of bounds". And pinning window buttons would be a great feature to have that will compensate for lack of system tray.

bar's height is unchangable from config

Hi, I'm trying to change bar's height from 18 to 12 or 14 but it seems not change at all, do I need to configure it somewhere else beside ~/.config/wapanel.toml ? thanks.

Build with system toml11

Hello. Trying to package wapanel for official repos and there is some requirements related to bundled stuff. Is it possible to build wapanel with system toml11?

Use separate window for app finder.

Creating separate windows and positioning it with layer shell will be good alternative for current pop up approach with more flexible placement.

We need to fix prefix path looking for wapanel.toml since most of time and canonical path is:

/usr/share/wapanel/wapanel.toml

pronunciation

How should "wapanel" be pronounced?

My problem mainly concerns the "wa" part.
It's pretty self-explanatory that "panel" will be read as "panel".

But how should the "wa" part be said?

Should it sound like "wha", because it just sounds the way it looks?
Should it maybe be "whe", because it's from "wayland"?
Sould it be read as "W A" maybe?

I'm confused.
