@Fjallen If you're playing at all with ignoring file extensions, you can also tell your shell to interprate a script via shebangs.

Example:

#!/path/to/you/executable <command args>

console.log('Yeee');

which then you can run as $ ./myScript.scriptOrWhatEver and your shell will interpret and execute the script, provided the file as the correct execution privileges (chmod +x yourFile).

So in node it code be something like this:

#!/usr/bin/node --input-type=module
// --input-type flag tells node to enable native es6 modules

import { test } from 'foo';

console.log(test);

or in python you might want to path to your virtual env or something for the executable.
