- Different types of cryptographic FPGA implementations.
- Classification algorithms for different kinds of Physical Unclonable Functions.
- Implementing a library to access measurment devices like Oscilloscopes, SMU's or function generators and software to automate analog measurements
๐ My research interests are in the domain of IT-Security and Hardware security. Currently I'm focusing on the development of hardware trust anchors within different types of non-volatile memories. Especially FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory), MRAM (Magnetiresistive Random Access Memory) and ReRAM (Resistive Random Access Memory). I also investigate the internal characteristics of low-level digital and analog elements like memristors or carbon nanotube field-effect transistors. But I'm also interested in other domains of computer science and open source projects. My favorite programming language is C++.
๐ด During the summer month I like to go mountain biking in the vicinity of Passau.
๐ป I also like to go hiking in the mountains.
๐ฟ and skiing during the winter.
โต ๐ท Traveling and combining my trips with landscape photography is also one of my favorite hobbies.
