Build Status Updates codecov

Python script that takes a plaintext files with image URLs and downloads them to local hard disk.

Requirements

  • Python 3.6+ (because f-strings)

Setup

In order to run the test suite and modify the code:

$ git clone https://github.com/flowfx/fileget
$ cd fileget
$ pipenv install --dev
$ pip install -e .
$ pytest

More or less.

Measure code coverage

Maybe not use codecov, but definitely have the ability to measure the code coverage on the command line.

Setup instructions

  • How to install the package using pip
  • How to install the package using pipenv
  • How to contribute and update the code

--dry-run option

  1. Check URLs.
  2. Print URLs.
  3. Don't download anything, and don't make any request calls.

Continuous Integration Pipeline

Use e.g. Travis CI to set up automatic testing etc.

  • running pytest
  • … for multiple Python versions (using tox?)
  • reporting of code coverage (see #10)
  • build status badge
