SelfHeatR

This is an R-script which implements the sensor self heating correction for the LiCor Li-7500 open path infrared gas analyzers during cold conditions. The procedure was originally developed by Burba et al. (2008) and applied to arctic conditions by Oechel et al. (2014). The correction by Oechel et al. (2014) accounts for sensor tilt by applying empirically determined weighing factors. This correction can only be applied when there are times during which well frozen conditions (and thus no soil respiration) can be assumed.
