physarum's Introduction

Physarum Transport Networks

Example

This is a particle-based simulation inspired by the Physarum polycephalum slime mold.

Details about the algorithm can be found on Sage Jenson's excellent webpage:

https://sagejenson.com/physarum

The algorithm is surprisingly simple given how complex its outputs appear. That's the magic of generative algorithms!

Usage

go run cmd/physarum/main.go

physarum's Issues

Question!

Hello!
Excellent work! After some tries I managed to run it on windows. I wonder if there any way to display the patterns formation in real time. I'm only getting the final .png, but I want to see the process like a video. Something like this: https://youtu.be/X-iSQQgOd1A?t=999. Also, is there any way to run the process on gpu rather on cpu? I work on python but never used go.

Thanks!

Doesn't run

Hi thank you for this package, used to run but not anymore, I don't know if are broken dependencies or else
