See #14 - The nice videos do NOT show up on stands.fosdem.org ;-)

Should I embed YouTube videos? That just seems nasty, bringing YouTube on the pages... Can you debug this perhaps? It works in Hugo. The website inspect console says:

Refused to load the script '<URL>' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'". Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is used as a fallback.
``

I don't know how to work around that and make it show up anyhow... It'd be nice to have them there ;-)

If you won't allow scripts, I'll make it images & link to the YouTube videos - but again, I prefer to use this videodelivery.net as they only store some super basic information and delete it after some time, instead of being evil-tracking-YouTube-Google. Unfortunately I can't deep link to those videos so linking would be YouTube. Pls advise!

Pull request #120 was committed in 85a35f1, which was intended to updated the content for FreeBSD's stand. However, https://stands.fosdem.org/stands/freebsd_project/ stills shows the old content. Did I do something wrong?

Update is disabled till some date or what ?

OW2 Open Source Community stand is not listed on https://stands.fosdem.org/stands/ but is listed on https://fosdem.org/2022/stands/

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with our _index.md page?

In order to prevent merging invalid code, we need some automated tests.

It should:

• clone every submodule
• fail if the hugo build fails
• pass if hugo build successfully

Links from the schul-frei stand to the videos and the welcoming event do not work. The URL on the stand page that should redirect to the event is https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/room/sschul-frei/

But the real URL for the event is https://fosdem.org/2022/schedule/room/sschulfrei/

It is the same way with the linking for our uploaded videos.

The current URL is https://video.fosdem.org/2022/stands/schul-frei but it should be https://video.fosdem.org/2022/stands/schulfrei

Despite having the git submodule, the ubuntu stand is not reflected on the website

FOSDEM's cogweel.png appears to be 91x93 pixes and gets stretched to 185x189 on the main stands page.

Should we size our logos accordingly ?

Is this CC-BY or something else? It'd be great to have a LICENSE or COPYING file at the root of the repository. I won't be able to contribute any stand content until this is clear.

OW2 stand points to old content: see last comment in issue #180 - that should not yet be considered closed - for details.

For some reason, our Stand Logo is showing a placeholder. But checking the path on our Markdown file, and checking the Git Submodule, the links seem correct. Could you folks please check why the logo is not rendering? 😅

• 1 "Welcome to *" miss the upload link in the "Schedule"'s panel (problem 1)
• 2..6 : "Stand Video *" have the upload link

Status

According to the status page:

All entries in form of "Prerecording for talk 'Stand Video *" are ignored,
I think this is not expected (Problem 2)

While all other entries in form of "Prerecording for talk 'Welcome to *" have "waiting for files" status
but there is no way to upload those (see Problem 1 described above)

Actions

I (@rzr) have reported this to a couple of time in fosdem's IRC room (to markvandenborre, agk, wouter,...)
but I thought it would be easier to use a ticket to coordinate needed work.
Feel free to ask me for more testing.

Yesterday I found out that latest changes on the ubuntu stand repositories were not being visible after one day (cron job). I have inspected and I do not see any problem with the last changes from that side and the branch name etc didn't suffer any changes.

I don't know what it could be the problem. But I do get an error in one of the other submodules:

1. git clone [email protected]:FOSDEM/stands-website.git
2. git submodule init
3. git submodule update
