klutter's Issues

Silently fails to add server

I recently switched phones from a pixel 4a to 7a.
On the new phone I am unable to add my Komga server and each time I try it silently fails.

I am using known good credentials and have attempted using both the local IP/port and the DNS. No matter what permutation of information I put in, it silently fails and no server is added.to the list.

I am running Klutter 0.6 on android 13. I had a look in the app to see if there are logs I can provide but cannot find them.

Any ideas?

End of last book needs page turn action

Currently when you try to turn the last page of the last book in a series then you get an infinite loading state.

Ideally instead it would display a snackbar tellitthe user they've reached the end.

Scroll up/down not working?

When zooming on a page it's possible to scroll left and right, but somehow scrolling up and down directly does not work. A workaround is to start scrolling left or right and then up or down without releasing the finger.

Unable to Add Server (Field Validation for Server Name Broken)

Trying to test out the app but it's given me an error when I try to add my home server. I enter the information requested but the validation on the "Server Name" field doesn't pass. It states I should enter a "valid email" in that field... For testing purposes I did but the error message remains.

I'm borderline suspect this is just phishing information.

Android / Quit application when connected to a server.

Hello

On Android application, when I'm connected to a server, I could not exit from the application.
I need to use the buttons (home or recent apps) to go back to android home.
Return button don't do anything.

When I'm on servers selection page I could exit the application by click on the return button.

Would it be possible to implent the exit functionality via return button ?
I see 2 possibilities :

  • In the server screen, click on the return button will disconnect from the server. (so we will be in servers selection page)
  • In the server screen, implement a "double" click on the return button to exit from the application.

Best regards

Sort order not alphabetic

Issue description

The comics in my Klutter app are not sorted alphabetically but seem to be sorted by updated date, even though the Komga web interface sorts them correctly.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Open the Klutter app
  2. Open a library
  3. In the browse tab, comics are not sorted correctly

Expected result

Comics are sorted alphabetically.

Actual result

Comics seem to be sorted by recently updated.

Additional information

  • Klutter version: 0.7.0
  • Operating system: Ipad OS 16.1.1
  • Device: iPad pro 11" 2018
  • Komga version: 0.157.5

Only show unread books for series

Currently in all views a series shows the total number of books within. In the normale komga WebView it shows the number of unread books within the serie.
Could this be changes or made a setting?

[Feature request] macOS universal app

Thanks for this app. If possible, it would be great to use this app natively on an M1 mac. Requesting that it be enabled as a universal app for the Mac App Store. Thanks again!

Catalan translation

I want to help translate the application into Catalan, how can I help you?

[Feature request] Home page refresh when exiting book detail

Desired behaviour:
When exiting the book detail screen, the home page should be refreshed to update the current book's state (read, unread, in progress with the correct progress indicator, etc).

Current behaviour
Currently, when a book passes from the unread to in progress state, when the user exits the reader and the detail page the book is still shown as unread. The home page is only updated when changing sections in the side bar.

Thanks for the cool app frameset, and congrats for the App Store publication! ๐ŸŽ‰

Zoom option to fit width/height/page

Usually PDFs and comics are expected to be printed on large A4 papers, and they are a bit difficult to read on small screens like phones. What I found to work best is to rotate the phone in landscape mode, zoom the page to fit the screen width, and drag it up/down as I read.

In the current version (0.7.0) though when flipping page the zoom is reset to fit the whole page in the screen. It would be great to have an option to zoom the page to fit the width or height of the screen while reading a book, and have that setting remembered from page to page.

Cool app by the way, thanks for your work!

Right-to-Left Reading?

Manga are printed Right-to-Left, it would be great to have an option to enable this behaviour.

Session spam/Session reuse

Klutter is not correctly resuing sessions, causing komga's authentication logs to be full of authentication actions.
