Usage:

Create a .env

MONGO_URL=mongodb://urlforthedatabase:27017/rocketchat
MONGO_OPLOG_URL=mongodb://urlforthedatabase:27017/local

INSTANCE_IP=<ip of the local instance>

Replace the keys with required values

Run rocket-chat server

docker-compose config
docker-compose up -d

Updating:

We receive updates to the Rocket.Chat Docker images via renovate bot. Once an update PR is merged, run the ansible-playbook in the housekeeping repo to deploy fresh containers.

Overlapping text on /home

Describe the bug
The text on /home is overlapping.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to /home
Scroll down to the bottom
See error

Expected behavior
The text should not have overlapped.

My screen resolution is 1600px by 900px.

Accessing new message component without having new messages

Describe the bug

You can have a new message component appear and stay there (until you refresh the page)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'open our chat app' (didn't post a link to avoid random joiners). Edit: Wait if someone visit this repo, they can see the link on the right side of the repo https://chat.freecodecamp.org/
Press the tab until the message component appear
Have that component follow you between rooms

Expected behavior
Small issue, just wanted to report it. We can have some logic to not render it if there are no new messages.

if you think deep about it, it may be a feature 🤔
