Thanks for adding preliminary support for .mdx files. I tried 17 dictionaries in .mdx format:
Working well: 9 dictionaries
Oxford German-English
Langenscheidt e-DaF (german)
Extremes Deutsch (german)
Duden Universal (german)
Digitale Bibliothe synonyms (german)
Wahrig (german)
Pons Deutsch als Fremdpsrache
Cambridge Advanced Learners Dictionary
Macquarie Dictionary
Working partially: 1 dictionary
IPA_4_in_1 (German IPA Dictionary)
Not working at all: 7 dictionaries
Cambridge German-English
DWDS artikel (german monolingual)
Lexico US
Dictionary.com
Macmillan Advanced Learners Dictionary

American Heritage Dictionary 5th Edition
All those dictionaries above work fine with the Anki add-on called "Fast Word Query" by @sth2018 :

Probably the author of the Anki add-on has a better method than "readmdict" from PyPi.
Would it be possible to reutilize the code from "Fast Word Query" into Vocabsieve ?
If that would be too difficult, then it is okay just to use "readmdict" from PyPi. It supports well around 50% of .mdx dictionaries.
