Stan is a Haskell static analysis tool. It uses a novel approach for static analysis (the algorithm is based on HIE files). And the tool provides various code analysis and suggestions.

Things to be questioned about Rust:

• Rust has better thread safety than Haskell
• is better suited for game development, embedded and real-time thanks to borrow checker and what comes no need for run-time
• programs are generally faster (see benchmarks link)

• terminals in comparison usually easily allow for invalid inputs

The way lamdu works might be too extreme for a shell and not pragmatic so maybe a shell that just does syntax highlighting and type checking before you press enter might be ideal
