hide-panel's Issues

Hide panel when maximised

Hi. If you could make an option to hide when a window is maximised rather than all the time it would be perfection!

Easy fix: add GNOME 41 support

First of all, thank you for writing such a well-made extension!

I've tested it out on GNOME 41 and it seems like it's working without any bugs. All you have to do is update the metadata.json to include 41

"shell-version": [
    "3.36",
    "3.38",
    "40",
    "41"
  ],

Bug: quick tab for app disappears

Quick access tab of the current application (see the image below) does not show, after enabling this extension and unhiding the panel. Consequently, the corresponding app menu cannot be opened.

A litle line appears when use Super + Arrows keys to adjust window position

When the extension is enabled, and we use Super + Arrow Left or Arrow Light to adjust the window's position, or even Super + Arrow Up, this line appears between the top of the screen and the window.

I believe it is related to this curvature that exists in the top bar.

When the window is in full screen, there is no such line between the top of the monitor and the window.

Creates a 1px gap at the top when fullscreen

With this extension enabled, full-screen apps leave a 1px gap at the top of the screen:

It's kind of small in the screenshot, but if the app has a dark background, it's really noticeable.

1px wide line on top

Screen Resolution: 3840x2160 (16:9)
OS Name: Fedora 34.20210503.0 (Silverblue)
Windowing System: Wayland

Menus pop up when clicking on the top of the screen

Hi there,
thanks for this nice extension!

I am asking myself if the following behavior is intended?

  • Move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen (for example in the horizontal center)
  • Click
  • The notification panel is shown.
    When moving along to the right or left, the same behavior is noticed, e.g. for the Activities button or the menu on the right. Also applies to the tray icons that are shown by KStatusNotifierItem/AppIndicator Support extension.

Is this intended like that, or is this a bug? I am on Gnome 3.38.4

Best regards, Lewin
