I don't know if it only happened to me, but there currently exists a bug where my hosted server (Apex) is unable to identify the mod, causing mismatched mods even though the mod is installed correctly on the server.
removing the mod solves the issue, but occurs again when reinstalled.

Given that the Fabric port of Apotheosis (Zenith) is now fairly stable and the enchanting module feature complete, it would be amazing if you created the same integration for it that you did the original.

I started Minecraft and after a while it crashed during startup I checked the log and this was at the end

As the title states, none of the Enchanting Tables show any sort of enchantments at all when on an SMP server. SSP on the other hand works entirely fine, and so tracking down the issue is extremely difficult. I've checked logs on multiple occasions, both SMP and SSP, but there is no correlation to be found between the mod and any other mod or incompatibility. And I see that this has been an issue for over a year (reference to #22 ).

Yeah like I said, there's no logs at all that mention anything remotely containing the mod, ever. When enchanting a weapon that should not be enchantable, that has gotten an enchant on it through some other (intended) way (like keeping enchants of previous tier when upgrading) the advanced enchanting infuser skips the check if it's enchantable and allows both modification of existing enchants and adding new enchants.
example:
mystical agriculture tools and weapons keep their enchants from previous tiers when upgrading.
the supremium tier tools have a config if they should be enchantable or not.
if that config is set to false, but you upgrade an imperium sword to supremium that already has e.g. sharpness 1 (or any other enchant at any level) the advanced enchanting infuser acts as if it were enchantable and allows free modification of any and all enchantments.
when the supremium sword was upgraded without enchants on it the advanced enchanting infuser correctly disables enchanting of it.
a possible solution would be to either only allow modification of already existing enchants without the ability to add new ones or to simply disable enchanting of unenchantable items even if they already have an enchant on them.

Issue: Just as the title says. I'm actually not sure which mod author to report this to. Magic Edge can be applied swords and axes so I tried to enchant my Enchanted Sword from Ars Noveau in the Enchanting Infuser but said enchantment doesn't appear at all. So I tried to use a book and it still doesn't appear. So I tried to use a wooden sword from vanilla Minecraft and that still didn't make said enchantment appear in the infuser. This goes for both the Enchanting Infuser and the Advanced Enchanting Infuser.

I also tried breaking the table. It gives me the sword back, it works fine. If I put the sword in the table again, it crashes again.

I am running a server with enchanting infuser and some extra enchantments. The problem is, i found a bug in the amethyst table, that allows ANY enchant on ANY item. So you can add the enchantment that adds hearts onto an axe and it will be completely broken and likely destroy my server. This is not the case for the netherite one, this one works fine.
How to replicate the issue: Install enchanting infuser along with some mods that add enchantments, in my case spellbound enchantments, fabric enchanments and wizards. Open the normal infuser and put any item in it. You will be able to add enchantments from categories that do not match this item onto it, like protection ones on an axe. Use enchantment descriptions mod to see the categories. As i said, this is not the case with the advanced infuser or the anvill or normal enchanting table, so the problem must be on the infusers side. This bug is very bad considering i have health inducing ones, so you can effectively make yourself unkillabe. Just please, help, because if someone on the server finds this out, it is going to completely ruin the server. i cannot disable these encahntments nor the infusers since some people use them already.

As it currently stands, even if Protection 8 is a possible enchantment, I cannot reach that using only the Infuser. Additionally, despite the fact that Apotheosis allows more than one form of protection on an armor piece, the infuser refuses to allow it. Is there some way for the mod to determine the actual maximum level for an enchantment and automatically apply it to the infuser?
If none of this is possible, maybe a config option could be created in order to manually set the enchantment level the Infuser can enchant up to, allowing modpack creators to simply sync these numbers up with any enchant modifying mods they use.

this is my first time uploading anything to github so im sorry if i formatted something wrong but anyways
im playing on a small server with a modpack i made with 110 mods
i have a little enchanting room and after some time, the infuser stops giving me xp for disenchanting things, but only in that specific area
i tried throwing xp bottles in that area, and the xp just doesnt exist, but if i throw the bottles about 5 blocks away from the table the xp is there like it should be

So just pick and choose your enchants seems a bit too easy once you get the infusing table, so I propose an alternative mechanic (maybe for another mod?... similar to this?), you feed items or books that have enchantments so you can put those enchants on other items.
E.g.
You get a pickaxe it has unbreaking 2, you feed it to the infuser.
Later on you get another pickaxe it has fortune 1, you feed it to the infuser.
You then want a new enchanted pickaxe and you put it on the infuser, now you can put both unbreaking 2 and fortune 1 to the item, and once put, they are spent.
If you put an enchanted book it will also feed those enchants to the table.
Here there are 2 possibilities,
This helps to recycle found items on structures in the world, instead of just tossing them out since the infuser already does everything for you.

In contrast of your really nice revamped enchanting system, lapis has no use anymore. So, I have an idea, not very polished, but I think it comes well with the new table.
The level of each enchanting could be applied additionaly to the cost of lapis. For example:
Fire Protection I would cost 1 level and 1 lapis
Fire Protection II would cost 2 levels and 1+2 lapis
Fire Protection III would cost 3 levels and 1+2+3 lapis
and so on...
In addition to unique-level enchantments, there could be an additional config file to adjust the cost of lapis, making it 10 lapis by default (for example) or so people could decide if instead that cost could reduce it or making it even more expensive, which it would help rebalance them, plus decide the cost of modded enchantments.
Hope this could be helpful to you, I just wanted to share some ideas : )

The Enchanting Infuser is not recognizing Bookshelfs added by the Apotheosis Mod or any other item which adds Stats related to Enchanting (i.e Quanta, Eterna, Arcana)

Hi, I have installed both Enchanting Infuser and Better Mending, and in the latter's config I set mending to be compatible with unbreaking.
Indeed if I have two books, one with unbreaking and one with mending, I can fuse them with an anvil and they get both the enchantments and I can also but that book with both enchantment on a tool and it works.
However in the enchanting infuser it still says they are incompatible. Am I doing something wrong?

In the basic infuser, you can add the thorns enchantment only to the chestplate, not all armor pieces like vanilla.

I have your Universal Enchants mod installed, where the incompatibility of all protection enchantments has been removed. Despite this, neither normal enchanting infuser, nor advanced one doesn't allow you to enchant items with different protection enchantments at once. Also, if the item is already enchanted with "incompatible" enchantments, the infuser won't even let you remove some of them.
Unfortunately, I didn't find a parameter for this in the config file

Whenever I try to insert an unenchanted item into an Infuser, it simply won't accept the item. Because of this, the Infusers are unusable, even with max enchanting power.
