There should be a check for the email pattern or at least the suffix of an email for example .com/org/net/etc.

I was able to sign up with '[email protected]'.

Entering the username '___' throws the error in the title. It is caused by line 35 in forms.py due to making the username lowercase. @Danielc1963 pointed out this error would be caused by all special characters in the username

I attached a zipfile of the error.

AttributeError at _signup.zip

24 characters can be input into the zip code but only allows 5 to signup. Either the character limit should be 5 or allow zip codes longer than 5.
