Ansible role for running ntpdate.
NOTE ntp must be installed on the target servers! This role tries to stop the ntp(d) daemon (depending on the host OS) and will fail if ntp(d) is not installed.
ansible-galaxy install galexrt.ansible-ntpdate
No special requirements.
# defaults file for ansible-ntpdate
ntpdate_enabled: true
# how many times ntpdate should be called
ntpdate_runs: 3
# the ntp server to use for ntpdate
ntpdate_server: "0.pool.ntp.org"
