kubernetes-manifests

This repository contains Kubernetes YAML manifests.

Most manifests will have a README.md or at least a Manifest Index entry which points to a blog post of mine which contains explanations for them or a link to a documentation for the image/manifest used.

NOTE Check the manifests for placeholder variables! Placeholder variables are always in upper case and one "word" (example: YOUR_GITLAB_BUILD_NAMESPACE, __STORAGE_CLASS__).

Missing selector field in statefulset

After setting up the gitlab-ci-runner manifests following the instructions in the blog post (which is how you can reproduce the issue) I get this error:

error: error validating "statefulset.yaml": error validating data: ValidationError(StatefulSet.spec): missing required field "selector" in io.k8s.api.apps.v1.StatefulSetSpec; if you choose to ignore these errors, turn validation off with --validate=false

Note that I'm using Kubernetes 1.10.4:
