So I have the textures downloaded, I have them in the same folder as the sourcecraft.jar, but sourcecraft does not list them in the details panel. I also downloaded the legacy reborn version of sourcecraft just to see what was different and it came with textures that were already in the same folder as the .bat/.jar and it detected those textures and the textures that I downloaded. This is what lead me to believe that the textures folder should be in the same folder as the .jar. All posts I have seen on here refer to the textures folder as "texture" so i renamed it to that to see if it would work but it didn't, currently the setup I have is: Textures are in the folder with the .jar, the folder is named "textures" inside it is a folder called "minecraft_original" and inside that are the texture files. Have I put them in the wrong place or have something incorrectly named? Any insight would be appreciated and I'm sure if someone gives me the solution I'm gonna feel like a big buffoon
I have a room with skybox texture
Hi, I've tested this as best I can (restarting Sourcecraft each time I saved the world) and found that certain blocks will make a chunk not get converted. I'm not sure why this happens. If any of the blocks in the list are in a chunk it will make that chunk appear blank..
minecraft version: 1.16.1
SC version: 3.1
there are the minecraft textures in the hammer editor but not on the blocks. is there a way so that they are applied to the blocks automatically?
I try both (C and D drives) to check the Steam folder, but nether works. Can you help?
Glass pane fronts, horizontal sides and glass blocks use the same texture in Minecraft, however this tool lists a different texture for both when imported. The tops & bottoms of glass panes do use their own texture though.
I have not tried importing stained glass blocks and panes to see if the same applies here.
Worlds from the newest update of the game 1.16.1 completely fails to generate every time
Greetings,
I've noticed a number of blocks don't convert properly. Blocks like furnaces, pistons, and many others are simply missing in the vmf, blocks like iron bars, buttons, and slabs are whole blocks instead their correct sizes, and blocks such as chests, stairs, and vines show up as solid blocks with the 'crate' texture.
Fences, torches, and glass panes ARE the correct size and shape, though, and a flame particle generator and light source is spawned on top of each torch.
I'm using version 3.1, and minecraft version 1.15. Any ideas on what's causing this?
Tried running the latest sourcecraft release, only getting a skybox in my vmf. Also had this issue in 2.1 as well. Any ideas?

After I compile a minecraft map, I have the world correctly cropped, but I am just missing all the textures. I have minecraft_original textures in both gmod materials and sourcecraft folder textures.
Hits the brush limit when converting large areas. Not your fault at all and idk how this is to be solved directly but I only wanted to do this to make the edge not noticable. Maybe a 3d skybox option? Idk man
after selecting the world, tf2 and the output directory and textures, when i pressed play it didnt do anything, just nothing. didnt put anything in the output folder too
During setup, i must set a path to my steam folder, so i do it
and it doesn't let me because my steam folder is called jajka instead of Steam
and i can't change the name of the folder because then steam won't launch
please fix
its port empty map with only skybox and entities like env_light and start.
while attempting to convert a map, i noticed a lack of certain blocks having materials, even after grabbing a resource pack:
cannot find material chest
cannot find material cobblestone_stairs
cannot find material redstone_wire
cannot find material vine
while some of these are less problematic than others (e.g. vine, maybe redstone wire), others, such as the chest & stairs (cobblestone stairs are not the only ones with issues, all stairs do not have textures in the pack i downloaded), i'm not sure how to make in texture form. since a chest has multiple pieces to it, due to it being a model, and since stairs are (assumingly) mapped texture-wise differently, how would that convert over to this program, being changed into a VTF?
