With the current design, there's no distinction of which page section is actively selected.
Doing this will reflect it better.

The previous sunrise animation used blur filter which basically did not work properly with safari and firefox.
Besides that the switching of colors and animation were janky.

Hence a new replacement!

Hello, I noticed the page could have a faster page load by optimizing the images. Here are the Lighthouse metrics:

Here are the changes that can be made:

1. Optimize images
2. Use WebP format
3. Lazy load offscreen images
4. Set height and width for images

Can I work on these improvements?

During test it seemed to work fine on my device (Mi 11x)
Probably need to test with other device resolutions

Bring in the elements from my previous iteration of the website

Add YT live links.
Some YT channels might not have embed options enabled. In that case add a button alone on the home page. In the place of the two buttons in hero section. Replace them with these.

Observation:
Navbar in desktop mode the middle action buttons seem to be squished on left side
FIX: Spaced them out evenly
Navbar in mobile
Same as above, all the actions are squished together making no difference between each other

Add a "Sponsor section" and inside that can we have lines something like this:
"Are you interested in supporting the event then drop an email to gdgchennaiteam[at]gmail[dot]com"?

Seems like the animation happens fine on chrome but does not reflect the same in firefox,
Also before animation starts the entire text layout seems to jump.

Maybe replace this with a more visible animation?

The ticket was supposed to be open from 11 AM IST on 18-10-2022. But it's been 30 minutes and it's still in HALTED state.It would be better if you could update the website with tentative time.

Bring back the partners section and for now, keep WTM Chennai, GDSC SRM Ramapuram, GDSC HITS and Google Developers logos. This could probably be Community Partners section.

Also let's try to have a Sponsors section. Each sponsor card will hold a logo and a text field to mention what sponsor they are.

Adding Google's Devfest branded gif banner to the background for "Book your presence section".
