The workflow for setting up airbender for your podcast/show could be better documented. Just updating the README will do.

The current README and code should be a good place to start. Feel free to leave questions here if anything is unclear.

Right now the user must start the airbender local API seperately before running the GUI. They must also clone that repository seperately.

It would be nice if

• That repo is a git submodule, so cloning just this repo will do
• The API is started automatically when the user starts the GUI

The background image we use right now is one we made specifically for the DSC afterhours podcast series.
It would be nice to let the user specify their own background images, and would go a long way in making the project accessible to other users.

Initial thoughts are that we might want to load a configuration file that contains a path to the image the user wants to use, and that the user modifies this configuration file. This is open to suggestions and should be fairly simple to implement.
