I forked your mousehunter-edge and I'm customizing the source code to my needs (e.g. using telegram for notification).

I have a question which aims to the labeling of the images...
Had you labeled the whole image (prey or no prey) or "just" the part (cats snout with and without prey) to prepare the data for the model training?

For my understanding, the labeling of the whole image is detailed enough, because it is "only" a classification and not a object detection problem.

I am currently working on basically the same project and wondered if it was possible for you to share your training data or any other cats with/without prey dataset that you know of.
The data collection process (i can start on monday when my ir-cam arrives) is going to be painfully slow. I think using some external data with different looking cats/backgrounds/lightning etc. has potential to improve the models roubstness and accuracy.

If you don't feel like exposing your cats privacy without consent, i can totally understand! Maybe we can work out a deal (e.g. i could provide you with data of my cat or bribe yours with little money for some treats).

Leider habe ich so gerade keine Möglichkeit gefunden Dich per PN oder Mail zu kontaktieren, daher mache ich einen Issue dazu auf.

Hast Du in Zukunft evtl. vor das ganze zu erweitern, mit z.B. anderen Messengern, wie z.B. Telegram? Da ich kein IOS nutze wäre der Teil mit der Benachrichtigung für mich nicht möglich.
Ebenso die Speicherung in der AmazonCloud. Vielleicht wäre z.B. eine Speicherung der Daten auf einem NAS-mount möglich?

Hallo, kann mir jemand helfen? ich kenne mich leider absolut nicht aus, aber bin gewillt neue Dinge zu lernen.
Ich hänge bei dem ersten Schritt fest: "Clone this repo on your raspberry and run:"
Soweit klappt auch alles, bis auf die letze Zeile. Diese Fehlermeldung tritt auf:
cp: der Aufruf von satt für "config.yaml" ist nicht möglich: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

Ich habe ChatGPT gelöchert, aber ich konnte nicht herausfinden wo diese "config.yaml" Datei herkommen soll.
Muss ich die Datei selbst erstellen? Aber davon steht ja nichts drin.

Are you using a custom iOS app to review the history and receive notifications?

If so, would you consider publishing the source code for this?
