omni's Issues

Omni for Vivaldi Browser

Add a new theme to the organization?

If you have already created a theme, make sure you check the following requirements:

  • The theme follows the template.
  • The theme follows the Omni Color Palette.
  • The branch name is main (we will keep this name pattern from now on)
  • The theme has instructions on how to install it.

Application: Vivaldi Browser
GitHub URL: https://github.com/ThiagoG8/Vivaldi

OBS: I changed the INSTALL.md model a little to make it easier to configure the browser and I didn't add some colors from the palette because the browser is only possible with 5 colors: background, foreground, selection and accent color.

hopefully it will be accepted even with these changes.

and if something does not meet the requirements answer me for the issue.

So, this is my first attempt to port Omni theme to Emacs, it maybe have some minor improvents to do but the base is done.

I changed a bit the template to fit with Emacs unique configs and so on... Also, when this theme will have been accepted, I'll publish the package to MELPA repositories (https://github.com/melpa/melpa).

I tried to support all most used packages, but of course there are infinite other that would require some minor tweaks.

I'd like to ask you all if there are any suggestions to improve the Mode-line and the theme itself.

My toughts:

  1. Maybe the true colors variants are too lightened?
  2. Mode-line appears to be too much darkened?
  3. Fringe column and background are too different?
  4. I don't know why, but there is a light white bar that represents tabs void (but this occurs on all themes, on my emacs config)

Any suggestions or PR would be perfect!

Here's a quick screenshot with true colors support:

Omni for JetBrains IDEs

New theme idea

I've developed a theme for JetBrains IDEs and IDEs based on IntelliJ. The theme is still on a test version. But it can already be used through manual installation.

In the future, I'd like to publish it on the JetBrains plug-ins store. However, in order to do that, I have some questions about who would be responsible for publishing, me or the organization. That's why I haven't done it yet. But I've followed every publishing guideline demanded by JetBrains.

Add a new theme to the organization

If you have already created a theme, make sure you check the following requirements:

  • The theme follows the template;
  • The theme follows the Omni Color Palette;
  • The branch name is main (we will keep this name pattern from now on);
  • The theme has correct instructions on how to install it;
  • The repository name is lowercase and contains just the application name. E.g. visual-studio-code.

Add Gnome Terminator support

Thanks for Omni theme!

Gnome Terminator is long running project (started in 2007) to expand upon the core functionality within Gnome Terminal.
In summary, Terminator offers a lot of the same core functionality that iTerm2.app offers on MacOS. (broadcast input, split windows, etc.)

I have made some small attempts to port Omni to Terminator.
However, I have run into issues with things like DIR COLORS and certain CLI applications not working properly with the Omni theme. e.g. cointop

I propose that Gnome Terminator get first class support with the Omni color pallet Theme.

Obs: I've created a '.colors' file for KDE Plasma with the Omni color palette. So using the default Plasma style(Breeze) , application style(Breeze) and the Omni color scheme that I made gives a better looking for the entire desktop.
I'm probably gonna work soon on a window decorations theme aswell that fits the same palette but looks like the Dracula one with that beautiful rounded buttons.
