reading logger data

the folder FORTRAN_read_CR10_CR10x contains the codes for reading logger data. This step outputs the files that comprise "*a.dat" should not be necessary to run

input data

"*a.dat" files that are output from FORTRAN codes from raw data loggers data; mainly pre-CR1000 CR10 and CR10x logger data...

aws_qc.pro

aws_qc.pro is IDL code developed by Jason Box 1995-2002 for processing of the input data

output data

"*c.dat" output by aws_qc.pro

"*q.dat" q is for quality... q.dat files output by aws_qc.pro for quality ID code I developed

jeb_gc-net's Issues

Add headers, logger files and other scripts

Hi Jason,

I got convinced that we should include your C level files in our GC-Net data processing.

Could you add all the relevant information to your Github repo:

  • header of files in input folder
  • header of files in output folder
  • logger files that you use
  • all side scripts and metadata used by your processing script

I think a first easy step is to insert your processed C level files instead of Derek’s C level files.
Then we can discuss whether we want to translate the fortran and IDL scripts.

When plotting the output files I get the following snow and surface height:

In theory, HW1 and HW2 should be un-modified sonic ranger distance, and should not get below zero.
Since they do in the files, then it means that some unwanted adjustment has been applied in the aws_qc.pro script.
Could we re-run the script without that adjustment?
