IntelliFold

A plugin for Jetbrains IDE's to allow flexible code folding based on user configuration (regex and other).

Usecases include folding of code comments, logging statements, debug mode checks,...

Supported languages:

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Java

Installation

  • Using IDE built-in plugin system:

    Settings/Preferences > Plugins > Marketplace > Search for "IntelliFold" > Install Plugin

  • Manually:

    Download the latest release and install it manually using Settings/Preferences > Plugins > ⚙️ > Install plugin from disk...

Plugin based on the IntelliJ Platform Plugin Template.

Consecutive line comments are not folded correctly

Multiple consecutive lines of line comments are not correctly folded away. Instead of all lines being hidden, the first comment is not included in the fold region.

Example input

function foo() {
    // bar
    // baz
    // ...
}

Expected visual output

function foo() {
}

Actual

function foo() {
    // bar
}
