Our backend is the powerhouse behind WhereIsHong.com, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to deliver a seamless and performant experience.

  • We embraced DDD principles to model our system around a simplified journal where Hong can track his coordinates in his own pace.

• Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS):

  • Leveraging CQRS, we separated the command and query responsibilities, enhancing the scalability and maintainability of our system.

• Distributed Architecture:

  • Our system is designed with a distributed architecture, featuring 1 REST API and 3 worker services seamlessly connected through AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS) and Simple Notification Service (SNS).
