google-checkout's Introduction

Perl implementation of Google Checkout (GCO)

This module provides an implementation of Google Checkout. It
allows you to checkout, send commands, wait and process notifications.
For more about Google Checkout, please see http://code.google.com/apis/checkout/developer/index.html.

INSTALLATION

To install this module, run the following commands:

    perl Makefile.PL
    make
    make test
    make install

After the module is installed, you will need to make change to
the configuration file:

    vi conf/GCOSystemGlobal.conf

Change MERCHANT_ID and MERCHANT_KEY to those provided to you by Google. Finally,
change BASE_GCO_SERVER to either the sandbox or live Checkout server.

Note that if you have v1.0.1 or later, changing the configuration is optional. The
code supports passing in the parameters so no configuration file is required.

Optionally, after you have make the configuration change you should test it:

    cd examples
    perl checkout/checkout_example1.pl
    perl checkout/checkout_example2.pl

If you got back a redirect URL, your module is now fully functional. If you
have problem either installing or using the module, please feel free to post
it here:
