Your app connects directly as an SPV (Lite) wallet, so you can start sending and receiving DigiByte right away. No lengthy downloads or syncing!

Safer than a vault: DigiByte for Android is based on the latest security features to protect you and your precious DigiBytes. Utilizing secure hardware encryption and a variety of other measures, you can rest assured that your DigiBytes are accessible to you and you alone.

Your first Digital wallet: DigiByte for Android was engineered from the ground-up to be as friendly to first-time users as possible. Central to this ideal is your Personal Recovery Key, that is all that is required to restore your DigiBytes in the event you ever lose your phone or happen to flush it away. DigiByte for Android uses “Brain wallet” techniques (A phrase you keep in your brain) to allow you to easily get back up and running on a new phone.

Digi-ID: this will allow you to securely authenticate and login to any website that supports Digi-ID. Simply by scanning QR and entering your PIN or your finger print in your DigiByte Wallet.

DigiAssets: is a secure, scalable layer on top of the DigiByte blockchain that allows for the decentralized issuance of digital assets, tokens, smart contracts, digital identity and more.

How to set up the development environment:

1. Download and install Java 7 or up

2. Download and Install the latest Android studio

3. Download and install the latest NDK or download it in android studio by "choosing the NDK" and press "download"

4. Go to Bread wallet and clone or download the project

5. Open the project with Android Studio and let the project sync

6. Go to SDK Manager and download all the SDK Platforms and SDK Tools

7. Initialize the submodules - git submodule init

8. Update the submodules - git submodule update

9. Build -> Rebuild Project
