Like chrome extension.

Title. The window log has been stuck in "[file] content has collected." for 15 minutes and it doesn't look like it's going to finish.

The AMO page mentions linking some token to bypass some error about a rate limit.

It proceeds to state that you have to "Click GitZip add-on icon on your browser", but there isn't such icon.

More over, if I go to the addon's entry in the list present at about:addons, where I should also be able to access the configuration page for the addon, I can only remove the addon or report it to Mozilla.

Although there is a bit wrong in the flow, but it still can get private token successfully.

Correct flow is: when you get the token, it will auto redirect back where you come from (usually github).
I think Firefox force using a new tab to open url causes the error.

I have noticed that this extension does not work on Firefox, while Chrome extension seems to work just fine (GitZip/chrome-extension#37).

Is it possible to "port" the changes made in the Chrome extension to the Firefox one?

There is no need to put single files in a zip, download single files direct without putting them in a zip (or add an option to do so).

Many users feedback that check folders and files with check box is a bit more convenient. So may be should think how to integrate the checkbox and current ways or just use checkbox instead.

It's not possible anymore to download folders. A double-click action on the folder does not work. I suspect a change in GitHub's code.
Individual files still work fine.

I faced rate limit error, but there is no Gitzip icon in browser main window (ether overflow section) to authorize it. Also looked at add-ons page and "Customize toolbar" section.

I get following error message in Firefox Quantum 66.0 64-bit.
