Cyclists often ride in groups and like to congratulate one another on a job well done. We should give cyclists the ability to give kudos to others in their network.

Cyclists ride when they can which means they ride at all hours of the day and sometimes night. It's hard to predict the traffic situation. A navigation system where a user could punch in their desired distance, start and end points and it would provide a few routes based on the safest conditions would be fantastic.

We provide lists of the fastest times by riders for predefined routes today. Cyclists often compete for the best times and we should spur them on by notifying their network when they achieve a King of the Mountain (KOM).

On long rides -- hydration and nutrition is critical. We should allow the user to set up alerts so they are notified at regular intervals as to when to drink and eat. 

I want to know where my friends are riding and how close they are to me at any given time. This is particularly useful for days when I am a bit late and want to catch up to the group.

Take the estimates ride time, and break up to a minimum of 3 notifications.

It is very easy to forget to start the mobile app at the beginning of a ride. It would be terrific if the user could set a start and end point and the app (assuming it was running) knew to start and stop based on location.

We already allow a user to enter their bike and other equipment they use. However, based on that information we should take it to the next step and allow the user to set mileage thresholds which will auto generate alerts to remind them to get their bike serviced.
