Hi, I installed it via git clone and cp'd to /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions naming it after the uuid.

I wish gnome would give me a better report on why it thinks it is outdated but the code must have called something they deprecated.

I'm running a 3.6.2 shell.

I use click-to-raise on ubuntu 11.10 with gnome 3.0
For example. I have three windows: gnome-tweak-tool, smplayer2 and pidgin chat window. Active windows - pidgin. All windows are not transparent

Expected result: all windows except pidgin are transparent.

Moreover, periodicaly i can select window and previous window do not become transparent.

Steps to reproduce:

• Open two windows.
• Select one to another has become transparent.
• Go to another desktop
• Get back to the previous desktop

Expected result: the inactive window transparent
The actual result: all windows are not transparent

OS: Ubuntu 11.10
Gnome shell version - 3.2.1

do you think it is possible to update your extension to support gnome-shell version 3.10? I just upgraded to Fedora 20 and it would be really nice to have your extension working again.

I'm running cairo-dock and it pops up nicely when mouseovering. The problem is that if I'm running a fullscreen browser (for example) and I mouseover the dock, it pops up, but is transparent like the focus still is on the browser and the dock is over it.

I would expect the dock to be fully visible and not 50% transparent. Or focused in other words, but that might be gnome-shell's limitation.

Is there a way of ignoring certain windows (let's say the cairo-dock)?

@gnosek Any idea how to make this work for latest gnome?

As we had in Compiz. E.g. with Alt+Mouse Wheel increases/decreases transparency of the window under cursor.
