Ugh! So frustrating... like I'd really want this to not happen, but Apple won't even let me register as a paid dev. :(
Could you temporarily use this binary?

I've just released a new version which will hopefully have this fixed. Let me know if it still doesn't work!

(BTW, I've never thought that anyone would be using this in the "real world" except for me... that's a big motivation boost! Thanks!)

It works now, Thank you for the quick update.

I really liked the app more than the browsing the webpage via browser. So not only you are using it every day. Keep the good job.

Oh, I probably broke this a few days ago while playing with my account :(
I'll release a new binary ASAP with a valid signature.

Sorry for the silence; I've been a bit busy due to my day work... and Apple seems to not want to take my money have decided that my Apple account is not eligible for a development account. Ugh...

For the time being, downloading the app, running xattr -c ~/Downloads/HackerNews.app in the Terminal, moving to /Applications, and right-clicking will allow the app to run.

@goranmoomin It doesn’t work. After removing the extended attributes, and trying to open it (from /Applications), macOS says the app is damaged.
