Randomly audio stops playing. audio url in aws.
This element is awesome!
One minor thing I noticed in the demo is that the visual progress updates at something less than 60fps, causing the progress bar to feel janky. During normal playback, maybe it makes sense to use a Web Animation or CSS Animation to smoothly animate at a given rate instead of setting the location at each interval? This is also more likely to move that work off the main thread and keep things smooth on low-end devices.
The Play and Pause buttons do not work, shown 3 at the same time, hide function does not work.
What could be my problem?
And
How I can put a notice of loading?
This is the project I'm working: http://2016.socialrhythm.mx/discografia
Thanks for the help
Kind regards
Clicking in the last quarter of a paper-audio-player
will cause the inversed title to still be shown which incorrectly aligns with the normal title and thus causes unreadable text.
Hovering anywhere on the element should probably show the pause button as it can be somewhat confusing otherwise for the user to find the pause button.
Is there a way to use the URL of a shared Google Doc file... such as this one?
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6EXQopkMCNQOG1QaHotU2otQXc
I can download the file, to an m4a... but the src parameter does not seem to work.
Can you add support to multiple songs, like a playlist ?
Hey,
We're using this component in production, and started noticing that it appears to be using web platform features which are soon to be deprecated, at which point I assume the player may break...
From the console on the demo page:
[Deprecation] Styling master document from stylesheets defined in HTML Imports is deprecated, and is planned to be removed in M65, around March 2018. Please refer to https://goo.gl/EGXzpw for possible migration paths.
I've never done any Polymer development so I don't know if this is an easy fix. I'll do a bit more investigating to see if I might be able to raise a small PR to fix it but I worry that it might require fundamental changes to the component...
Thanks
I also find myself clicking in the middle of the player to start the audio but it jumps straight to the middle of the audio. Would to see an option to have the first click start the audio from the beginning instead.
The current demo looses focus when play or pausing using the keyboard.
NOTE: it would be useful (perhaps another feature request?) to be more accessible and provide keyboard access to use arrow keys, page up/down keys, to move through the audio stream as current users do now by clicking in the player graphic area.
Browsers' built-in <audio>
widgets include sliders to control the volume at which the audio is played.
paper-audio-player seems to lack this feature.
Right now all tests pass successfully locally using web-component-tester (see here), but won't pass in Travis CI builds.
Hi,
We're using paper-audio-player in a large web-app, but would like to be able to customise the styling more than the built in support for customising the accent colour offers.
Would there be a possibility of somehow having the player support the ability to provide a custom stylesheet to tweak the player styling?
I'm new to Polymer so not sure how this problem is usually solved with re-using shared components, so if this is already possible I'd appreciate any advice or guidance on how it can be done ๐
Thanks!
I'd like to be able to include this player in my app, it takes a users text query and searches through an audio file and finds any time in which the word or phrase in the query is said in the audio file. We currently do this through markers in the videojs player, but would like a nice webcomponent player for just audio. We basically just need the player to:

The idea is to extend the players functionality with GA tracking by adding JS to events that are dispatched on the player. Things like play, pause, scrubbing the timeline, view-through (listen-through).
Usage:
<paper-audio-player ga-trackingid="UA-000000-01" src="http://nadikun.com/audio/demo.mp3" title="Pink Shades - O+PNR" color="#F05C38"></paper-audio-player>
Adding some MD love would be great.
If you resize the window the white-on-color text will not align with the colored-on-white text. Changing the source will re-align the two sets of title text. I found this problem on Chrome and Firefox.
It would be very useful to be able to be able to set the preload attribute on the audio element to either metadata or none, to save on bandwidth and/or also make things easier when trying to track audio downloads (preloads count, but aren't really listens).
I did some preliminary testing, and a preload="metadata" seems to work just fine, however preload="none" breaks the player (clicking on the player does nothing).
I'll keep playing a bit and see how far I get, but this would be a very handy feature for me.
Thanks for the player never the less, this is super handy!
I'm using paper-audio-player in project of mine and in the process I made a bunch of changes and added some features. Some of the more notable ones are adding aurura.js support for FLAC playback, adding events that can be hooked into for playlist support, and cleaning up some style bugs. You can see a working example here:
http://darncoyotes.mstream.io/
Is there any interest in having these feature added to this repository? I can make a pull request if there's enough support. The changes are pretty extensive, and I want to make sure they are within the scope of the project before trying to make a pull request. You can look through my code here:

This is the page I'm testing right now. For some reason it doesn't show in Chrome (Latest Version, Windows 10 Annivesary Update) but it does kinda show up in Safari for iOS. Is anyone else having the same problem?
I got CloudFlare to work in development mode, but it doesn't work either
Situation: a 1 hour speach. A sertain point is made at second 2323. But the point ends at 2356. Is it possible to limit the sound bit to a specific time slice?
thanks
