Gr4ffy - firstly, thanks so much for creating this, it's got me 90% of the way to getting CUPS up and running successfully on my router.

I have an issue however, that certain filters needed for my printer are not included in the cups-filters package created from this Makefile. Specifically pdftops - which is the in 'full' cups-filters package available here: https://github.com/OpenPrinting/cups-filters

I am pretty ignorant when it comes to the details of the build system, but how can I update this to include the additional filters needed?

The latest stable release for CUPS on the cups web site or the github is v2.2.11. Is it possible to compile it via your tool.

Can i export the printers with SAMBA?

I do not understand why OpenWRT lost cups support. I have found that it was lost somewhere after attitude adjustment (12.09) and the OpenWRT cups documentation refers to this repository for "LEDE images", which, presumably, means that anything released after the LEDE/OpenWRT fork/remerge is missing cups as well.

There was work in the packages repository to import cups (in openwrt/packages#1452, openwrt/packages#1453, openwrt/packages#1454, openwrt/packages#2407) but that was blocked by @psycho-nico who said, in 2016, that he was already working on importing cups from the old packages repository.

So is there any reason for this repository to stay standalone? Shouldn't this be merged with the main repository?
