xk6-notification

This is a k6 extension using the xk6 system.

❗ This is a proof of concept

As such, it isn't supported by the k6 team, and may break in the future. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Build

To build a k6 binary with this extension, first ensure you have the prerequisites:

Go toolchain
Git

Then:

Install xk6:

$ go install go.k6.io/xk6/cmd/xk6@latest

Build the binary:

$ xk6 build --with github.com/grafana/xk6-notification@latest

Usage

import http from 'k6/http';
import notification from 'k6/x/notification';

const url = 'slack://token:token@channel/';

export function setup() {
  notification.send(url, 'Starting test');
}

export default function () {
  http.get('http://test.k6.io');
}

export function teardown(data) {
  notification.send(url, 'Finishing test');
}

Needed to maintain listing in k6 Extensions Registry

We've recently updated the requirements for maintaining an extension within the listing on our site. As such, please address the following items to maintain your listing within the registry:

add an examples directory containing k6 test scripts making use of your extension
requires at least one versioned release
needs to build with a recent version of k6; minimum v0.43

Thanks for making this extension for K6.
Is there a way to integrate debugging? I added a teams webhook and it says every time 400 Bad request.
I would like to see the complete request that is made to teams.
