Does NHBaseAPI work with HBase 0.94? I found it always encounters the following error while using HTable.NewScanner() to do the query:

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
in System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Shutdown(SocketShutdown how)
in KJFramework.Net.Channels.Receivers.TcpAsynDataRecevier.Stop()

I've used another Thrift API to connect to hbase previously, but now I'm trying NHBaseAPI. When I try to connect using:

string connectionStr = "zk=[my port]:2181";
IHBaseClient client = new HBaseClient(connectionStr);

I get the following error:

Any suggestions of what may be wrong? I ca confirm my hbase instance is up because I can use HareDBClient to access the data in my hbase table.

Just found this .Net based HBase client library but it still lacks of some features such as filters. It there any plan and timeline for supporting them?
