I scanned my huge library and it took long (makes sense) but I had no sense of progress. Maybe you can have an indicator (number of games found / processed) while it is scanning.

Show games in a way that is useful to users. With sorting and filtering

Alpha

• Name (sort, filter)
• Release date (s,f)
• Genres (filter, exclude)
• Metacritic (s,f)
• Opencritic (s,f)
• Display as grid / table

Beta

Later

• Steam deck support
• Controller support

Research and enable controller support for navigation between menus and games. Especially to allow site usage on steam deck and console browsers.

To Do

• Research libraries
• Install library and adapt events

Once the user steam library is linked, and games are imported, a system to get and edit metadata for each game.

Metadata can by provided by many sources.

Metadata providers

• Steam API
• Steam Store (crawling)
• IGDB

Allow users customize metadata provider for a field, or set their own value
