The emacs/packages.el allows the installation of the necessary packages and emacs/config.el is the configuration file. It is necessary to run doom sync to perform the installation and apply the configuration.

I use Zotero to create a bibliography and download the papers, with emacs I can associate an org note to a pdf. I access the bibliography with helm-bibtex.

I use Alacritty as terminal emulator and Starship as customizable prompt.

Alacritty is a simple, GPU-accelerated terminal emulator written in Rust. I only changed the font and its size but further modifications can be made such as key mapping, opacity, colors.

Starship is a customizable prompt for any shell. It is written in Rust and needs a Nerd Font installed and enabled.

Glances is a cross-platform system monitoring tool written in Python.

Bat is basically cat with syntax highlighting.

Zoxide is a cd command that remembers the most frequently used directories.
