Hello All,
I'm having some issues installing the rpm onto Fedora 21. Following the instructions, the repo is set up correctly and listed on yum repolist. However, I cannot seem to install the gyazo package as it reports that none exist. Any ideas on how this could happen?

I have a Gyazo pro account. On Windows and Mac, if I take a Gyazo, it will show up under "My captures" here and there I can browse my entire history of Gyazo's I have captured.
However if I take a Gyazo on Linux, it is NOT added to "My captures." The Gyazo URL will open in my browser where I am logged in to my Pro account, but if I go to "My captures" it will show up under my "Browsing history" but not my collection.
How do I link my account? Thanks!
It's been replaced by dnf. Please update the readme
I am constantly experiencing the selection frame when taking screenshots, this is the picture when finished
https://gyazo.com/2a6c3bc9a5e31e8a40deb81d5c731a03
Often, I'll go to screenshot, let's say, a chromium page, but instead, it screenshots the discord application I have open in the background. Minimizing everything in the background does not help either.
As the title says, I would really like for this version of Gyazo to have it's own tray icon [Basically, I would like if it had actual tray integration]. I'm on Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS and prefer Gyazo to auto start in the tray on boot [like it does in Windows].
If that can be implemented than it would be much better, in my opinion.
Sorry "the GPL license" means any version.
Please specify the GPL version you want.
Personally I recommend GPLv2, but that's just me. See what Torvalds said about it for details. But that's just one side of the coin. There's other opinions too, and software license version numbers don't work like software version numbers.
When taking a screenshot on ubuntu 17, it looks like this every time https://gyazo.com/9b6a2d82c61f5e66069c21539c77778f
https://i.gyazo.com/de046ebf02e23460d07a451212e76a02.png
Is there a specific reason for the black border surrounding the captured images?
Annoying when taking screenshots that end up being on a white background.
Hi, there!
Could you show us build status?
It requires CircleCI API token to get badge image.
best regards 😃
What's the usage license on this code? If I want to fork it to make it better, is it possible?
When chrome window restored it works good
It's not possible to edit or delete the uploaded screenshot as the Windows or browser-extension version of Gyazo:
I think it's because Gyazo-for-Linux uses the old CGI Gyazo API (https://github.com/gyazo/Gyazo-for-Linux/blob/master/src/gyazo.rb#L20).
Can I update Gyazo-for-Linux to the new API ?
Hi.
It doesn't work on Ubuntu 12.04/Gnome 3.
When I run gazo executable, cursor changes to cross-hair, but after this I can't select area on the screen: when I drag mouse selection rectangle area doesn't appear correctly like it is being breaking by something. Then after releasing left mouse button, gyazo website is opened and shows random image: random area, from random monitor, from random workspace. For example, when I was selecting an area on second monitor on first workspace, resulting screenshot was made from 3rd monitor of 4th workspace.
I'm getting this error and I don't know what to do
Unable to download repo config from: https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/gyazo/gyazo-for-linux/config_file.list?os=elementary&dist=loki&source=script
Please, can you help me?

Hi, I'm curious how this application is compiled from its code into a deb. I currently just mapped a keyboard shortcut to do 'ruby /path/to/gyazo.rb' but I'd like to build
Here is a video a user created: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z911UKtGz0

I am still waiting to hear back about which distribution of linux they are using and I will update.

Hey,
I installed Gyazo the way it was described here, but when I want to take a screenshot of my desktop for example, I only get a black background.
On top of that i can't do screenshots of my browser. (https://gyazo.com/fda111919b5d1fe97f0b1a5c89994776 I tried to make a screen of the Gyazo-GitHub page)
I'm quite new to Linux by the way.
OS: Linux-Mint 17.3
Kernel Version: 3.19
Graphics card: MSI 970GTX
I hope someone can help me. If you need more information just tell me.
I wonder how hard would it be to convert this deb into an rpm installer for RH based systems such as Fedora...
If anyone has an idea how to implement this, please comment

I've installed Gyazo for Linux before and I didn't encounter any issues. However, I've tried several times but I've not succeeded installing it on this other machine. It never resolves. Then again, it's running a different OS. The previous one was running on Xubuntu 14.04. Is it because of the OS difference or is the issue something else?
i encountered with this error, can anyone help ?

I noticed that whenever I make a screenshot, it would make likes like these, it it seems to be the lines that outline the screenshot. And when I move around the cursor before I let go, it does this.
https://gyazo.com/d4fa2ce821e599701963dcc1db359c1c
It seemed to fix itself at one point, but it just came back. Rebooting does not fix the problem(anymore).
I'm running Ubuntu 17.04
On windows capturing gif is pretty straight forward, you just right-click gyazo in the tray and choose "Capture Gif" or use ctrl+shift+g
. But I cannot figure out how to do the same on linux. When I right-click gyazo in the launcher the only option I get is "Gyazo", which is the same as just clicking the icon.
Could someone help me out?
Also are there any docs for this?

Eu uso ubuntu precise. Por padrão ao instalar o gyazo, ele instala junto o ruby1.8.
Buscando solução encontrei o seguinte:
You're trying to use 1.9 hash syntax (key: value) with a 1.8 Ruby (:key => value).

Então atualizei o ruby de 1.8 para 1.9; e agora rodou!
I noticed Gyazo 2.0 came out, and can do GIFs, but I don't see any updates here. Is 2.0 not coming to Linux?
When I do a snapshot of a portion of the screen, and later import it into Gimp, I have to "ignore PNG offset". Using the image in other places occasionally also just doesn't show the image, or shows it shifted out of frame.
I believe this will fix it:
https://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?t=14556
Took 1 screenshot and it was way off and not even the of the screen in front but another program running. Next attempts didn't even launch the website... nothing happens

I am currently running an up to date version of CentOS 6.7, and I have installed Gyazo and ImageMagick is also installed, however whenever I try and click the "Gyazo" icon it doesn't open at all, and also upon running "gyazo" in the terminal I get this
