chatbot-plus's Introduction

ChatBot Plus

ChatBot Plus is a chat interface for large language models which allows you to chat with OpenAI, Cohere, Together, or Local (Alpaca, Llama) chat models.

Built using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.

Try it yourself!

Features

  • Use window.ai to support keyless AI
  • Albeit not recommended, add OpenAI Key directly to client-side in lieu of window.ai
  • Discord-like groups organization of chats
  • Syntax highlighting for code blocks
  • Markdown-based responses
  • Copy code blocks
  • Light and Dark Modes

Deploy

Run your own version of ChatBot Plus on Vercel.

chatbot-plus's Issues

Can't Switch

The readme says that it works with Cohere but it only has an option for OpenAI and a switch button that apparently does nothing.

Local installation problems

I went through the installation procedure getting the following error:

`PS D:\GPT-IA\chatbot-plus> pnpm dev

[email protected] dev D:\GPT-IA\chatbot-plus
next dev

"node" non è riconosciuto come comando interno o esterno,
un programma eseguibile o un file batch.
ELIFECYCLE  Command failed with exit code 1.`

Proxy?

We are looking for a solution to offer various text models in an educational setting. Using window.ai / etc. does not seem like a good solution here. Is there a way to set up a proxy that would deliver the API endpoints of the various models?

We can host services so that only members of the institution can access frontend / proxy, so key security is not that much of a problem for us.
