color-blindness-emulation's Issues

Validity of achromatomaly

One of the filters currently provided in this repository is achromatomaly. A user by the name of Chromaphobe recently released their findings (video, transcript & footnotes) about the origin of this term (coined by a single developer) and why it's not blue cone monochromacy, as some sources have suggested.

It's unclear where the filter in this repository was sourced from, but it does line up with Colorjack's, which has since been retracted.

Repo value: 0.618, 0.320, 0.062, 0, 0, 0.163, 0.775, 0.062, 0, 0, 0.163, 0.320, 0.516, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0
Colorjack's value: R:[61.8, 32, 6.2], G:[16.3, 77.5, 6.2], B:[16.3, 32.0, 51.6]

With all this in mind, I'm of the opinion that the "achromatomaly" filter should be removed or at the least evaluated further for validity.

Thank you

This deserves more github stars, wow, so useful!

Thank you, thank you, thanks you!

Contributing changes?

I've done some cleanup on the html page, and would love to contribute those back to this project. When I try to sync my changes via the Github desktop app, I'm told that I don't have permission. Is it possible to make this happen?

Thanks!
