Setup.hs (wxc)

On Crunchbang (Waldorf) linux, trying to install wxHaskell. I got an error similar to
'System.Environment' doesn't export 'lookupEnv'

I looked on Hackage and under System.Environment.lookupEnv it has the additional comment:

"For POSIX users, this is equivalent to getEnv."

Near the end.

So it looks like my Haskell install doesn't have lookupEnv and the alternative they gave just throws an error when the variable doesn't exist, rather than returning a Nothing like the Setup file appears to be expecting.

Any way to fix this behavior?
