Charu3 is a text input support tool for Windows that can be called up with a keystroke and allows you to paste in pre-defined canned text. It also has a variety of other functions.

The original author is Mr. Matsumoto Keiji. The official page is here

The last release of the original Charu3 was Ver 7.06.07 in 2004, and its development has been terminated.

However, in the fall of 2020, I suffered a disaster in which all my accumulated data was suddenly lost. There is a similar report at the same time on Vector's comments and ratings. I thought that there might be some problem between the current Windows 10 and this software.

So I brazenly asked Mr. Matsumoto if he would let me take over the maintenance of this software. He graciously released the source code.

This repository, Charu3 SE, is a forked version of it. In this repository, I made some fixes to make it buildable in Visual Studio 2019. I have also fixed some issues.

However, the above issue is currently under investigation.

そこで私は図々しくも松本氏にこのソフトウェアのメンテナンスを私に引き継がせてもらえないかと打診したところ、 氏は快くソースコードを公開してくださいました。

このリポジトリ Charu3 SE は、そこからフォークしたものです。 このリポジトリで私は Visual Studio 2019 でビルドできるようにするための修正などを施しました。 また、いくつかの問題も修正しています。

しかし、上記の問題については現在調査中です。
