• Switch to Baseframe's .html.jinja2 templates (see hasgeek/baseframe#166)
• Rename all app templates to use .html.jinja2 extension

When the "IRC channel" link on the homepage is clicked, it should open an embedded chat window. See http://mozillaindia.org to see the kind of UI I have in mind.

Reasons:

• Most people don't have an IRC client installed
• Even if they do, the irc: protocol handler almost never works.

Disclaimer: I'm one of the guys that wrote Scrollback.

Additional notes:

• It won't connect people to the channel until they say something (no redundant join/parts)
• The server has an I-Line at freenode (hundreds of users can connect)
• It reports IP addresses to freenode so chanops can ban individual users.

Need LinkedIn api to fech details such as work/experience, education and expertise/skills.

Need a user input form/edit interface for the following:

1. user bio
2. user location

Need imgee interface for:

1. profile image
2. cover photo
3. background image (optional)

Also, need to fetch details about:

1. user's participation on various hasgeek events - hacknight, conferences, workshops, funnel proposals/confirmed etc. seperately.
2. user's tagged videos from hgtv

The About section should also list currently open jobs.

There's no contact email address (info@) or a postal address anywhere that I can find on the website.

Profile pages should show recent activity from the user's and organization's various social networks. For instance, GitHub commit activity.
