hmirror's Issues

Concatenated

Is there a particular reason you don't just host 1 large blocklist where you delete all duplicates?
You know, like

wget -qO - https://some list urls.list >> /tmp/black
wget -qO - --limit-rate=1500k https://some other list2.txt >> /tmp/black
cat /somelocallist/black >> /tmp/black

sed '/^#/ d' < /tmp/black > /tmp/blist
dos2unix -q -n /tmp/blist /tmp/bl
sort /tmp/bl | uniq -u > /tmp/finalbl

It's really weird that nobody seems to be doing that. Who in their right mind, as an end user, is going to sift through all separate lists? Ideally everybody wants 1 hosted list on github, where people globally can add or remove entries in with valid arguments, and then have the same for whitelisting.

New Logo/Icon proposal

Good day Sir I am a graphic designer and i am interested in designing a logo for your good project. I will be doing it as a gift for free. I just need your permission first before i begin my design. Hoping for your positive feedback. Thanks

uBlock filters have been split into yearly sub-lists

Hello Hector,

Since 2020, new uBlock filters are added to yearly sub-lists, which are not included in your sources.json file.

In addition to the original list (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/filters.txt), here are the additional lists:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/filters-2020.txt
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/filters-2021.txt
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/filters-2022.txt
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/master/filters/filters-2023.txt

And new lists will be created in 2024, 2025, etc.

So you may want to add these lists to ensure that you are getting all of the latest updates.

Best regards, and thanks for all of your efforts!

Guides/Docs to use on my own server?

Hi Mate,

As per the subject line, I wish to implement this mirrors option on my own server. Any guide or documentation to do it, would be really helpful for me.. :)
