Modification of the Source SDK 2013 to create a series of experimental gameplay centered around fort building. The basis being the gameplay of the original Sourceforts.

Linux and Windows are supported. Work is being done on macOS builds, but it may take sometime.

LuminousForts requires Steam and Source SDK 2013 Multiplayer.

Automated builds and installers are not yet available for Windows.

The game can easily be installed by downloading this repository from the releases page.

• Achieve Capture the Flag feature parity
• Improve client side prediction to reduce the feel of network latency
• Fix issues with announcer sounds
• Compatibility with Sourceforts maps and assets

Join the Steam community

The main focus on work is not necessarily what is added to the game, but that additional defects and issues are not added to the game. If developing experimental functionality please ensure that it can be feature toggled.
