scmap-shiny's Issues

new features

  1. For the results plots, when you have 100% unassigned, would it be possible not to show the plot? it seems a bit redundant
  2. This presentation works for now, but it is not going to scale if there are 100s of datasets in the reference. We need to think about how to prioritize and/or compress
  3. Also, it would be nice to have a “download all” button so that you don’t have to click on each separately
  4. is it possible to identify the best mapping amongst all clusters in the reference for each cell? Even better if you could have top-n matches for each cell. Then, if you get alpha-cells from three different datasets as your top hits you can be pretty sure that’s what you have.
  5. Things that would be nice: List of all cell-types in each reference. For most of the references my dataset only matched one or none of the cell-types, it would be nice to know what it failed to match.
  6. I tried uploading my own reference that was lacking the "cell_type1" field: For the figure on the "Features" tab I got a generic error message but the list of features seems ok.
When I hit the "Results" tab I got "31% of the cells were unassigned" but it correctly figured out the reference and projection were different organisms.
But I got the same error message when I changed it so both reference & projection were the mouse but neither had "cell_type1" fields.
Ok so it was actually because I didn't have a feature_symbol field. Would nice to have the option to select a pData/fData column to be renamed cell_type1/feature_symbol interactively.
  7. One final thing, after playing with it many times & uploading several datasets it suddenly started having errors for the plots but reloading the page fixed it.
