This repository contains all of the user-created splashscreens for the RetroPie Project.

Making a Splash Screen

In order to maintain consistency these are the criteria for acceptance into the repository:

Filetypes:

  • Image Splashes must be .png filetype
  • Video Splashes must be .mp4 filetype

Dimensions:

  • Regular Dimensions: 1920x1080
  • 4x3 Dimensions: 1440x1080

Formatting:

  • Names must be all lowercase
  • Spaces must be hyphens

Naming Conventions

Regular Splash Screen:

username-title.png

4x3 Splash Screen

username-title-4x3.png

Video Splash Screen

username-title-video.mp4
