repl socket fails to open about heroku-buildpack-clojure HOT 6 CLOSED

Confirmed this is an issue. Until I get it fixed, try using heroku run lein trampoline run -m clojure.main/main for a repl as a workaround. You may need to rlwrap that on the client side.

Fixed in the latest commit to Leiningen, will backport it to preview10 via a plugin in the buildpack.

So the problem here is that localhost isn't isolated on a per-dyno level, so listening on it for your repl would open your app up to anyone else on the same underlying instance. The solution is to keep it all in-process, which I just added to lein master: technomancy/leiningen@975e3eb

However to use it on preview10 I spun it off into its own plugin: https://github.com/technomancy/lein-standalone-repl

And now the buildpack will transparently alias lein repl to lein standalone-repl.
