Fixed in c629d23. The NSFileCoordinator object was being leaked and either it or its block was retaining self which was causing dealloc on the NSDocument to never be called.

YES! Just the other day I was looking and totally failed to find this -_-;

I started by setting a breakpoint on the NSDocument subclass' dealloc and noticed it wasn't getting called. Then I set a breakpoint on the retain method to see what was retaining it and from there was able to find the leak. Oddly enough, the Xcode 6.0.1's static analyzer didn't mention the leak. Or any other leaks, which I know there are some from the topLevelObjects. Maybe the project is misconfigured..

The static analyzer caught some leaks before. But yeah, I would have hoped that it could find leaks like the several you fixed.
Meh, just chalking it up as another potential pro of eventually ARCing it up.
