It would be nice if the callback was added to the internal subscriptions list as a weakref - that way callbacks (and the owning objects) can be garbage collected even if unsubscribe has not been called correctly.

I'm interested in using this for an open source project. But I need to make sure that the licenses are compatible. I don't see and declaration of license. Do you have one in mind or don't plan on having a license?

I'm trying to use queue to send information to a thread then use to feed cyrusbus. Could you add some kind bus.queue function ("queue_name", command = foo = bar options)?
In the thread I have among other things, these lines

    if run_queue.empty ():
        sleep (1)
    else:
        run_queue.get take = ()
        bus.publish (cmd = take [0], opt = take [1])

Do you know any better solution?
